My name is Stoney Curtis. I play in Stoney Curtis Band & Count’s 77 (Shrapnel Records) we have a television show called Counting Cars and a recording studio, Desert Moon here in Las Vegas. I’ve been stalking this pedal (Hyperdrive) for a while.. I finally pulled the trigger and bought one. I absolutely LOVE it!! Killer clean, tight overdrive that rivals ANY other OD Pedal I’ve used. It’s all over my new album and will be a part of my tone for years to come. I’ve already had a couple buddies buy one immediately!!
I have two HYPERDRIVES on my pedal board and they are amazing. I play my amp totally clean. The first Hyperdrive is for a small bit of breakup. The second is solo time. Both on is more than stellar. Yes this is the best overdrive pedal I’ve ever used.
It’s wonderful
So, I bought a hand wired Deluxe Reverb for small club gigs where I can’t be bothered to drag my Marshall half stack around. The amp sounds great but is a little too clean and “spikey”. The Octonaut smooths out the attack and adds warmth to the sound at both rhythm and lead settings. Exactly what I needed and hoped it would do. Thanks for making this pedal!
